Zahava is the 'imma' behind the clinic. Her journey from founding Chicago Family Acupuncture in 2018 to growing IMMA into its Northbrook home has been driven by one goal: compassionate, root-cause care. With a Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and NCCAOM board certification, she has helped thousands of patients reconnect with their bodies and minds.
Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist
After studying TCM and running a private clinic in Israel, Yuval brought his deep knowledge of classical Chinese herbology to IMMA. He specializes in complex conditions — cancer support, neurological and autoimmune disorders — and incorporates mind-body exercises and breathing techniques into his holistic practice. Yuval sees human health as part of nature and believes we all have the power to heal.
Licensed Acupuncturist
Sarah earned her Master's in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago, with specialized training in supportive oncology from MD Anderson/Rush and ongoing trauma training through Acupuncturists Without Borders. She focuses on musculoskeletal pain, E-stim, and fascia stretching to relieve pain, restore movement, and support nervous system regulation.
